Role of virial coefficients in chemical reaction
Published 2020-08-04Version 1
van't Hoff equation relates equilibrium constant of a chemical reaction $K$ to temperature $T$. Though the van't Hoff plot ($\ln K$ vs $1/T$) is linear, the plot is nonlinear for certain chemical reactions. In this work we attribute such observations to virial coefficients.
