A Single Slice 2d Anderson Model at Weak Disorder

Gilles Poirot

Published 1996-05-22, updated 1997-02-13Version 2

We introduce a matrix-operator formulation of the Anderson model in d=2. In a single slice, we can then derive an analogy between our model and a standard random matrices problem. This enables us to construct and control the Green function in one slice, which is an important prerequisite to a full multi-scale study of the problem using the Renormalisation Group approach.
