We present quasi-Banach spaces which are surprisingly similar to certain dual Banach spaces. In particular we show a quasi-Banach space which shares many properties of the dual of the Schreier space: it is $\ell_1$-saturated and does not have the Schur property, its dual is isometrically isomorphic to the double dual of the Schreier space and it has 'the same' extreme points of the unit ball as the dual of the Schreier space.
