Power laws in wall and wake layers of a turbulent boundary layer

Noor Afzal

Published 2020-06-04Version 1

The power laws in the overlap region of two layer theory of turbulent boundary layer have been obtained by Millikan-Kolmogorov hypothesis. The solution of the open functional equation is not unique. The connection between the power law and classical log law is also analysed.
