A Note on $g$-Angle between Two Subspaces in Normed Spaces

Muhammad Nur, Hendra Gunawan, Mochammad Idris

Published 2018-09-06Version 1

We discuss the notion of $g$-angle between two subspaces of arbitrary dimensions in a normed space. In particular, we discuss the $g$-angle between an $m$-dimensional subspace and an $n$-dimensional subspace for $1\le m\le n<\infty$. This paper is an extension of the work by Nur \emph{et al.} \cite{Nur}. Moreover, we present an explicit formula for the $g$-angle between an $m$-dimensional subspace and an $n$-dimensional subspace in $\ell^{p}$ spaces, $1\le p<\infty$.
