We developed the theory of electronic properties of semiconductor quantum rings with the Rashba spin-orbit interaction irradiated by an off-resonant high-frequency electromagnetic field (dressing field). Within the Floquet theory of periodically driven quantum systems, it is demonstrated that the dressing field drastically modifies all spin characteristics of the rings. In particular, the dressing field leads to the significant renormalization of spin-orbit coupling constants, electronic transport and optical response of the rings. The present effect paves the way for controlling the spin-polarized electronic transport with light in prospective ring-shaped spintronic devices.
