A note on the quantization of tensor fields and quantization of mechanical systems

Published 2018-01-16Version 1

In the present work we present a canonical method of quantization for contravariant tensor fields. Its natural application to quantizing classical mechanical systems is proved to coincide with that developed in a previous article.

Comments: In arXiv:1701.04239 we have presented a canonical bridge between Classical and Quantum Mechanics. The current paper gives a purely mathematical method that assigns a differential operator to each covariant tensor field and each connection. As a non-trivial result, we also prove that in the case of mechanics, this second method produces the same quantization rule as that of arXiv:1701.04239
