The universal $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ weight system and the Kreweras triangle

Published 2017-12-14Version 1

The theory of finite order knot invariants applied to the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ provides a weight system $\varphi_{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$ which maps the chord diagrams to polynomials in a single variable with integer coefficients. In this paper, following this weight system, we relate the weights of specific chord diagrams to the Kreweras triangle, known to refine the normalized median Genocchi numbers.
