In this work we present a new approach for the implementation of the operational Tau method for the solution of systems of differential equations. In this approach the matrix involved in the algebraic equivalent of the differential problem, that is a characteristic of the operational Tau method, has a better condition number, since it is constructed without resource to similarity transformations, hence improving the accuracy of the Tau method solutions.
