The renormalization method for asymptotic analysis: from differential equations to difference equations

Cheng-shi Liu

Published 2017-02-22Version 1

In the paper, we obtain the renormalization method and homotopy renormalization method based on the discrete Taylor expansion or namely Newton-Maclaurin series, and apply them to some difference equations and give the global asymptotic solutions. In particular, for those equations not including a small parameter, the homotopy renormalization method can also be applied.
