Factorizations of group determinant for finite abelian groups in the group algebra of subgroups

For any given finite abelian group, we give factorizations of the group determinant in the group algebra of any subgroup. One of these factorizations leads to the irreducible factorization of the group determinant for any given abelian group. As a corollary, we obtain a simple expression for inverse elements in the group algebra.
