Regularity criterion for the 3D magneto-hydrodynamics system
Published 2015-07-23Version 1
This paper studies the regularity problem for the 3D magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) system. Splitting the frequency space into the inertial and dissipation ranges, we obtain a new regularity criterion based solely on the velocity. This regularity condition is weaker than some of the existing criteria for the 3D MHD system and hence improves several previous results.
