The Schrödinger equation for open systems
Published 2009-03-11Version 1
An universal exact description of kinetics of open quantum systems in terms of random wave functions and stochastic Schr\"{o}dinger equation is suggested. It is shown that evolution of random quantum states of an open system is unitary on average, and this implies validity of the optical theorem for any inelastic scattering.
Comments: 3 pages, no figures, Latex Revtex4, with addition in the source tex file of Russian prototype of the paper rejected by JETP Letters because a referee disliked its polyvalent notations
