Contrary to standard procedures, the environmental recoil effects associated with locally induced heat flows are not completely disregarded. The main technical tool in the study of such weakly-out-of equilibrium systems is a consequent exploitation of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation. The third Newton law in the mean is utilised to generate diffusion-type processes which are either anomalous (enhanced), or generically non-dispersive.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "1998-09-23T12:14:02.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "third newton law", "perturbations", "isothermal brownian motion", "weakly-out-of equilibrium systems", "generate diffusion-type processes" ], "note": { "typesetting": "LaTeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 476760, "adsabs": "1998quant.ph..9070G" } } }
