We reinterpret Choi's proof of the fact that any completely positive linear map has a Kraus representation [Lin. Alg. and App., 10, 1975] as a method for quantum process tomography. Furthermore, the analysis for obtaining the Kraus operators are particularly simple in this method.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2002-01-25T18:33:37.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.Ta" ], "keywords": [ "quantum process tomography", "unknown quantum operation", "reinterpret chois proof", "kraus operators", "positive linear map" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "AIP", "journal": "Journal of Mathematical Physics", "doi": "10.1063/1.1518554", "year": 2003, "month": "Feb", "volume": 44, "number": 2, "pages": 528 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2003JMP....44..528L" } } }
