We discuss some aspects of the deformation in the low energy gravity approximation, where it appears as a change in the boundary condition of fields. We relate unique features of the boundary of AdS to the worldsheet becoming non-local, and conjecture that non-local worldsheet actions may be generic in other classes of backgrounds.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2002-03-20T16:00:04.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "boundary condition", "spacetime singularities", "low energy gravity approximation", "non-local worldsheet actions", "relate unique features" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "IOP", "journal": "Journal of High Energy Physics", "year": 2002, "month": "May", "volume": 2002, "number": 5, "pages": "034" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 21, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 581344, "adsabs": "2002JHEP...05..034B" } } }
