The problem is reduced via conformal mapping to one on the surface of a sphere. The case of a spheroid is considered in details, and the dependence on parameters is discussed. In the high magnetic field limit a regular structure in the energy spectrum, resembling the Landau levels, is obtained. Level statistics is discussed.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2000-01-16T23:43:35.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "strong magnetic field", "rotationally symmetric nanoparticles", "energy spectrum", "high magnetic field limit", "external magnetic field" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "note": { "typesetting": "LaTeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "1999cond.mat.10355M" } } }
