By taking quantum fluctuations into account it can describe not only the localized limit but also the weakly localized regime. We discuss several possibilities to generalize the concept of Anderson localization to interacting electron systems such as the quantum Coulomb glass and define criteria for localization. The corresponding physical quantities are calculated by numerically exact diagonalization. The results indicate that single-particle excitations close to the Fermi energy become more strongly localized under the influence of interaction.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "1997-08-25T17:44:36.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "anderson localization", "interacting system", "quantum coulomb glass model", "single-particle excitations close", "fermi energy" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1002/(SICI)1521-3951(199801)205:1<53::AID-PSSB53>3.3.CO;2-9", "journal": "Physica Status Solidi B Basic Research", "year": 1998, "month": "Jan", "volume": 205, "number": 1, "pages": 53 }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "1998PSSBR.205...53V" } } }
