Due to the simplicity of the solutions, which do not require the use of the replica trick, we are able to carry out a detailed investigation of a number of special situations. For p larger or equal to 3, there appear first-order transitions between the paramagnetic and the ordered phases. In the presence of additional ferromagnetic interactions, we show that there is no stable mixed phase, with both ferromagnetic and spin-glass properties.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2005-05-23T17:28:37.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "soluble multi-spin glass models", "phase diagrams", "appear first-order transitions", "soluble mean-field spin-glass model", "additional ferromagnetic interactions" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Physica A Statistical Mechanics and its Applications", "year": 2006, "month": "Jan", "volume": 359, "pages": 469 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2006PhyA..359..469M" } } }
