We have suggested several experiments to directly detect and manipulate the spin Hall current in this system. A fictitious two-dimensional magnetic monopole can be created in a Corbino disk with the Rashba interaction by a circular charge current induced either by a spin Hall current in the presence of a ferromagnetic junction or by a perpendicular external magnetic field.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2005-01-13T02:21:38.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "spin hall current", "corbino disk", "perpendicular external magnetic field", "radial charge current", "sample edge problem" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2005cond.mat..1307L" } } }
