The coupled, excitable HH neurons are assumed to receive the two kinds of spike-train inputs: the transient input consisting of $M$ impulses for the finite duration ($M$: integer) and the sequential input with the constant interspike interval (ISI). The distribution of the output ISI $T_{\\rm o}$ shows a rich of variety depending on the coupling strength and the time delay. The comparison is made between the dependence of the output ISI for the transient inputs and that for the sequential inputs.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2000-12-04T06:13:47.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "spike-train response", "hodgkin-huxley neurons", "time-delayed couplings", "output isi", "sequential input" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Journal of the Physical Society of Japan", "year": 2000, "month": "Nov", "volume": 69, "number": 11, "pages": 3726 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 19, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2000JPSJ...69.3726H" } } }
