In this type of models, Q-balls and Q-Kinks solutions are found. The geometrical framework described in this article allows the identification of the necessary conditions on the metric and the potential to guarantee the existence of these Q-balls and Q-Kinks. Using this procedure, Sigma models where both types of solutions coexist, have been identified.
