We show that a Peters cycle is not generally supported by the data when compared with these alternatives. We explore the observational signatures of non-Peters cycle scenarios, and the opportunities to explore both ultrahigh energy cosmic ray source conditions, as well as, physics beyond the Standard model they present.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2023-09-28T15:24:53.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "cosmic ray spectrum", "peters cycle", "cosmic ray source conditions", "ray spectra escaping sources", "ultrahigh energy cosmic ray observations" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
