We investigate this property for any complex evaluation of Dedekind zeta functions. The results are more delicate and subtle than what was proven for the function field case in previous work of Li and the authors, since they include some surprising behavior in the neighborhood of the trivial zeros. The techniques include a mixture of analytic and computer assisted arguments.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2022-09-28T06:16:14.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "11G40", "11M06", "14G10" ], "keywords": [ "dedekind zeta functions", "northcott property", "function field case", "special values", "computer assisted arguments" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 29, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
