We carry out Wang-Landau sampling to obtain the density of states. Using microcanonical inflection-point analysis with the microcanonical entropy, we obtain the order of the psuedo-phase transitions in the models. The microcanonical analyzing results of second order transition for Ising model and the first order transition for Baxter-Wu model are well consistent with the traditional canonical results. In addition, the third-order transitions are found in both models implying the universality of higher order phase transitions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2022-03-13T04:27:42.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "baxter-wu model", "higher order phase transitions", "second order transition", "first order transition", "two-dimensional finite size lattices" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 7, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
