It is shown that in calculating the average of the first-passage time, it is necessary to take into account the changes in entropy occurring during this process. Using the example of a DC bias voltage, the influence of external influences on the average first-passage time is considered. All real physical processes, including of the first-passage time, occur with changes in entropy.
