This confirms the conjectured Price's law in the physics literature which predicts the sharp estimates of the spin $s=\\pm \\sfrak$ components towards the future null infinity as well as in a compact region. The asymptotics are derived via a unified, detailed analysis of the Teukolsky master equation which is satisfied by all these components.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2021-04-28T14:57:28.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "35Q75", "58K55", "58J45", "83C50", "83C60" ], "keywords": [ "schwarzschild background", "spin fields", "teukolsky master equation", "globally sharp asymptotic profiles", "scalar field" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 60, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
