In particular, we consider a selective multipreconditioned GMRES algorithm where we incorporate a weighting that allows us to prefer one preconditioner over another. Our target application lies in the simulation of incompressible two-phase flow. Since it is not always known if a preconditioner will perform well within all regimes found in a simulation, we also consider robustness of the multipreconditioning to a poorly performing preconditioner. Overall, we obtain promising results with the approach.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2020-05-15T15:56:11.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "65F08", "65F10", "65N22", "76D05", "76T10", "15A06", "65-06" ], "keywords": [ "two-phase incompressible navier-stokes flow", "preconditioner", "multipreconditioning", "target application lies", "optimal choice" ], "tags": [ "conference paper" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
