In this paper, we show that while $K_{\\frac{1}{2}}(x)$ is an elementary function, $K_{\\frac{1}{2},w}(x)$ can be written in the form of an infinite series of Humbert functions. As an application of this result, we generalize the transformation formula for the logarithm of the Dedekind eta function $\\eta(z)$.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2018-10-07T06:54:07.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "33E20", "33C10" ], "keywords": [ "generalized modified bessel function", "humbert functions", "dedekind eta function", "elegant theory similar", "transformation formula" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 14, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
