Typically, pressure estimates are ignored in the literature. However, full reliability of a numerical method is not established unless the solution pair $(u,p)$ is treated. The simplicity of the proposed technique puts pressure estimates within reach of many existing and future numerical methods and lends itself to the numerical analyst's toolbox.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2018-03-12T16:45:16.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "65M12", "65M60", "76D05" ], "keywords": [ "pressure estimates", "navier-stokes equations", "finite element method", "numerical method", "general technique" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
