The stability proof of the previous method relies on the interface operators being norm-contracting, which is satisfied by the second and fourth order operators, but not by the sixth order operator. In this paper, we present a new way of numerical interface couplings to remove the norm-contracting requirement, so that the sixth order accurate scheme is also provably stable.
