We demonstrate that Faraday rotation angle and third harmonic radiation intensity have a characteristic Hall plateaus feature. These nonlinear effects remain robust against the significant broadening of Landau levels. We predict realization of an experiment through the observation of the third harmonic signal and Faraday rotation angle, which are within the experimental feasibility.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2016-04-27T12:01:52.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "quantum hall system", "strong electromagnetic radiation", "nonlinear response", "faraday rotation angle", "third harmonic radiation intensity" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2016arXiv160408030A" } } }
