To this aim, we compute key quantities in quantum estimation theory, such as the classical and the quantum Fisher information, in the prototypical case of an heterometallic antiferromagnetic ring. We show that local measurements, performed only on a portion of the molecule, allow a precise estimate of the parameters related to both magnetic defects and avoided level crossings.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2016-04-22T05:34:40.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "probing molecular spin clusters", "local measurements", "quantum fisher information", "quantum estimation theory", "magnetic defects" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 2, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2016arXiv160406539T" } } }
