Examination of four reconstructed light curves of the hot spot eclipses showed directly that the brightness of the hot spot changed significantly only during the outburst. The brightness of the hot spot, before and after the outburst, was on the same level. Hereby, based on the behaviour of the hot spot, IY UMa during its normal outburst follows the disk-instability model.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2016-01-11T01:01:49.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "dwarf nova iy ursae majoris", "eclipsing dwarf nova iy ursae", "hot spot", "normal outburst" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 10, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable" } } }
