More precisely, for any $d+1\\not=2$ (pseudo-)Riemannian manifold $M$ with spacelike or timelike boundary components, the BV theory on the bulk induces a compatible BFV theory on the boundary. As a byproduct, the usual canonical formulation of General Relativity is recovered in a straightforward way.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2015-09-18T19:57:00.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "83C47", "81T70", "70S05" ], "keywords": [ "general relativity", "einstein-hilbert action", "bv-bfv approach", "adm formalism admits", "riemannian manifold" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.4941410" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 19, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1393987 } } }
