First, we study the interplay between Andreev and specular scattering at the interface on the distribution of waiting times of electrons or holes separately. In that case the distribution is not altered dramatically compared to the case of a single quantum channel with a quantum point contact. However, when a pair of electrons is split at the interface, the probability to observe two consecutive electrons in a short time interval is significantly enhanced due to entanglement.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2015-06-23T15:03:53.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "waiting times", "normal-superconducting junction", "entangled electrons", "short time interval", "quantum point contact" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1016/j.physe.2015.10.033", "journal": "Physica E Low-Dimensional Systems and Nanostructures", "year": 2016, "month": "Feb", "volume": 76, "pages": 209 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2016PhyE...76..209A" } } }
