For large fields a gap appears, while when they are small the density of states $g(\\omega)$ develops localized soft modes and reaches zero as $\\omega^4$. By imposing a force along the softest mode one reaches very similar minima of the energy, separated by small barriers, that appear to be good candidates for classical two-level systems.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2015-06-16T11:44:51.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "75.10.Nr", "75.40.Mg" ], "keywords": [ "three-dimensional heisenberg spin glass", "localization", "random field", "large fields", "localized soft modes" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevLett.115.267205" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1376398 } } }
