We show here that in a certain limiting regime such solutions reduce to some elementary ones called \"Solitons on unstable condensate\". This degeneration turns out to be conveniently studied by means of basic tools from the theory of Riemann-Hilbert problems. In particular no acquaintance with Riemann surfaces and theta-function is required for such analysis.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-12-06T20:11:58.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "riemann-hilbert problems", "two-phase solutions", "appropriate riemann surface", "focusing nls equation", "basic tools" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.4922362", "journal": "Journal of Mathematical Physics", "year": 2015, "month": "Jun", "volume": 56, "number": 6, "pages": "061507" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 17, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2015JMP....56f1507B" } } }
