However, the present paper draws attention to a completely different matter, which is rarely if ever discussed in relation to this equation, namely, the time complexity of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation, that is, the time required to exactly solve the equation for a given universe. As it is shown in the paper, whatever generic exact algorithm is used to solve the equation, most likely such an algorithm cannot be faster than brute force, which makes the wave functions of the Universe infeasible.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-10-14T12:16:15.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "wave functions", "concerning infeasibility", "wheeler-dewitt equation", "general exact solutions", "generic exact algorithm" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1007/s10773-015-2560-z", "journal": "International Journal of Theoretical Physics", "year": 2015, "month": "Sep", "pages": 3215, "volume": 54, "number": 9 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 7, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1322085, "adsabs": "2015IJTP...54.3215B" } } }
