We classify all irreducible complex G-representations in the principal series, irrespective of the (dis)connectedness of the centre of G. This leads to a local Langlands correspondence for principal series representations, which satisfies all expected properties. We also prove that the ABPS conjecture about the geometric structure of Bernstein components is valid throughout the principal series of G.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-09-29T13:18:25.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "22E50", "20G05", "20C08" ], "keywords": [ "adic groups", "disconnected centre", "local non-archimedean field", "local langlands correspondence", "principal series representations" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014arXiv1409.8110A" } } }
