The TMR exhibits strong anisotropy and switches sign as the polarization direction varies relative to the QW axis, due to interplay among the one-dimensionality, the magnetic ordering, and the strong SOC of the QW. The relevance of the model to the oxide interface between LaAlO$_3$ and SrTiO$_3$ is also discussed.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-09-23T00:03:44.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "quantum wire", "negative tunneling magneto-resistance", "strong spin-orbit coupling", "two-dimensional double-barrier magnetic tunnel junction", "polarization direction varies" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/0953-8984/27/25/255002", "journal": "Journal of Physics Condensed Matter", "year": 2015, "month": "Jun", "volume": 27, "number": 25, "pages": 255002 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2015JPCM...27y5002H" } } }
