We perform extensive numerical simulations of this system and carry on detailed theoretical analysis based upon momentum and energy exchanges between the turbulence fluctuations and the mean coherent condensate (vortices). The theory predicts the vortex profile and amplitude which perfectly agree with the numerical data.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-06-05T11:43:07.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "47.27.Gs", "47.10.-g" ], "keywords": [ "two-dimensional turbulence", "vortex condensate", "universal profile", "inverse turbulent cascade", "mean coherent condensate" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevLett.113.254503", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Dec", "volume": 113, "number": 25, "pages": 254503 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.113y4503L" } } }
