A detailed study of the sensitivity on noise for several transport protocols and noise spectra is provided. The e?ect of slow spring-constant drifts is also analyzed. Trap trajectories that minimize the excitation are designed combining invariant-based inverse engineering, perturbation theory, and optimal control.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-04-16T14:14:53.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "37.10.Ty", "03.67.Lx" ], "keywords": [ "trapped ion", "fast shuttling", "combining invariant-based inverse engineering", "slow spring-constant drifts", "position uctuations" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevA.89.063414", "journal": "Physical Review A", "year": 2014, "month": "Jun", "volume": 89, "number": 6, "pages": "063414" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvA..89f3414L" } } }
