By separating the combinatorial problems from the geometric aspects we can reduce this to the computation of certain monodromy cones. In this way we not only shed new light on the extension results of Alexeev, Birkenhake, Hulek, and Vologodsky for the second Voronoi toroidal compactification, but we also apply this to other toroidal compactifications, in particular the perfect cone compactification, for which we obtain a combinatorial characterization of the indeterminacy locus, as well as a geometric description up to codimension six, and an explicit toroidal resolution of the Prym map up to codimension four.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-03-08T06:03:40.000Z", "comment": "52 pages, Appendix by Mathieu Dutour Sikiric", "journal": null, "doi": null }, { "version": "v2", "updated": "2015-03-10T01:43:52.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "14H40", "14K10", "14H10" ], "keywords": [ "prym map", "abelian varieties", "moduli space", "second voronoi toroidal compactification", "explicit toroidal resolution" ], "note": { "typesetting": "LaTeX", "pages": 53, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014arXiv1403.1938C" } } }
