We find that the system is insulating in the commensurate phase since the average mass deviates from zero. At the transition the mean mass is vanishing and electronic conduction in a finite sample can be described by a critical percolation along zero-mass lines. In this case graphene at the Dirac point is in a critical state with the conductivity $\\sqrt{3}e^2/h$. In the incommensurate phase the system behaves as a symplectic metal.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-08-15T14:08:51.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.63.-b", "73.20.-r", "73.22.-f", "73.43.Cd" ], "keywords": [ "metal-insulator transition", "average mass deviates", "correlated random-mass landscape subject", "hexagonal boron nitride", "vector-potential disorder" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevLett.113.096801", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Aug", "volume": 113, "number": 9, "pages": "096801" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.113i6801T" } } }
