We explore conditions under which such localized phases persist in the presence of power-law interactions and supplement our analytic treatment with numerical evidence of localized states in one dimension. We propose and analyze several experimental systems that can be used to observe and probe such states, including ultracold polar molecules and solid-state magnetic spin impurities.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-02-26T20:18:55.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "67.85.-d", "05.30.Jp", "71.10.Fd", "73.20.Fz" ], "keywords": [ "many-body localization", "solid-state magnetic spin impurities", "long coherence times", "ultracold polar molecules", "study many-body localized phases" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevLett.113.243002", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Dec", "volume": 113, "number": 24, "pages": 243002 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 9, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.113x3002Y" } } }
