Using a realistic model and parameters, we map the physical conditions to find three different phenomena reported in the literature: the tunneling induced transparency, the formation of Autler-Townes doublets, and the creation of a Mollow-like triplet. We found that the electron tunneling between quantum dots is the responsible for the different optical regime. Our results not only explain the experimental results in the literature but also give insights for future experiments and applications in optics using quantum dots molecules.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-11-16T12:43:55.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.21.La", "73.23.Hk", "73.40.Gk", "73.63.Kv", "78.67.Hc", "42.50.-p" ], "keywords": [ "quantum dot molecules", "optical response", "quantum interference", "quantum dots molecules", "quantum molecule" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.4833239", "journal": "Applied Physics Letters", "year": 2013, "month": "Nov", "volume": 103, "number": 22, "pages": 222101 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013ApPhL.103v2101B" } } }
