It is found that in the double-QD case, the presence of the Majorana zero mode can efficiently dissolve the antiresonance point in the conductance spectrum and induce a conductance peak to appear at the same energy position whose value is equal to $e^2/2h$. This antiresonance-resonance change will be suitable to detect the Majorana bound states. Next in the multi-QD case, we observe that in the zero-bias limit, the conductances are always the same as the double-QD result, independent of the parity of the QD number. We believe that all these results can be helpful for understanding the properties of Majorana bound states.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-09-10T05:35:55.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.67.Lx", "73.63.-b", "74.78.Na", "73.21.-b" ], "keywords": [ "majorana-fermion zero mode", "t-shaped quantum-dot structure", "majorana bound states", "majorana zero mode", "conductance" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevB.89.245413", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2014, "month": "Jun", "volume": 89, "number": 24, "pages": 245413 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1253904, "adsabs": "2014PhRvB..89x5413G" } } }
