Using symmetric function expansions and a generalized Selberg integral, we develop a systematic perturbation theory in $1-\\Gamma_i$ valid for arbitrary number of channels, and obtain explicit formulas up to second order for the average and variance of the conductance, and for the average shot-noise. Higher moments of the conductance are considered to leading order.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-08-13T14:30:08.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.23.-b", "05.45.Mt", "73.63.Kv" ], "keywords": [ "weakly non-ideal chaotic cavities", "quantum transport", "statistics", "symmetric function expansions", "systematic perturbation theory" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review E", "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevE.88.052912", "year": 2013, "month": "Nov", "volume": 88, "number": 5, "pages": "052912" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013PhRvE..88e2912R" } } }
