The violation of one inequality forbids the violation of the other. We also obtain the corresponding monogamy relation imposed by quantum theory for a qutrit-qubit system. Our results show the existence of fundamental monogamy relations between contextuality and nonlocality that suggest that entanglement might be a particular form of a more fundamental resource.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-03-18T10:52:51.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.Ud", "03.65.Ta", "03.67.Mn" ], "keywords": [ "fundamental monogamy relation", "contextuality", "nonlocality", "no-disturbance principle imposes", "klyachko-can-binicioglu-shumovski inequality" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Mar", "volume": 112, "number": 10, "pages": 100401 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.112j0401K" } } }
